Can you tell us about your background and what inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I began making music independently in 2020 under a different artistic name, learning everything on my own. Eventually, I decided to pursue a more professional path, adopting a new artistic name and creating songs in my preferred style. Having a career in music was one of my childhood dreams, but I never imagined I could pursue it due to many insecurities. Despite that, I went for it, and the most important part is that I’m enjoying it immensely.
How did you come up with your stage name, Miracole? Is there a special meaning behind it?
I chose the name “Miracole” because it reminded me of the word “miracle.” Beyond the fact that it flows beautifully, it resonates with me on a personal level. My journey into music felt like a miracle, as I never imagined I would ever be able to sing. Finding a good name was challenging, but Miracole came to me naturally, perfectly reflecting my path and the unexpected nature of my musical journey.
Who are your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your sound?
I grew up listening to a lot of great music and was inspired by many talented artists. Recently, the artists who have influenced me the most are Thom Yorke, Billie Eilish, and Lana Del Rey. Their unique styles and approaches to music have significantly shaped my sound.
How would you describe your musical style to someone who hasn’t heard your music before?
My musical style is definitely connected to my own feelings. Whether I feel sad, happy, or anything in between, I strive to create something unique. I listen to a wide range of genres, and this diversity is reflected in my music too. My goal is always to capture and convey genuine emotion, although I’m not sure if I’ve succeeded.
Can you walk us through your typical songwriting process? Where do you find inspiration for your lyrics?
For me, songwriting doesn’t happen spontaneously where I suddenly grab a pen and paper to write down lyrics. My process begins differently; I usually sit in the backyard or another quiet place and think deeply. That’s when inspiration starts to flow. However, it’s the most challenging part of the process, especially since English is not my native language. Despite this, I work through it to create meaningful lyrics.
Do you have a favorite place or environment where you feel most creative?
If I want to switch my mind to focus on being creative, it can happen anywhere. I don’t have a specific place; I can find inspiration and creativity in any environment.
Can you tell us about “SOMEDAYS”? What was the inspiration behind it?
“SOMEDAYS” is all about staying optimistic when you’re not feeling great. Good days will come anyway. It might sound a bit cliché, but it’s based on my own character. I’m always optimistic, even when I’m feeling down.
What was the most challenging part of creating your music, and how did you overcome it?
The most challenging part of creating my music was learning everything by myself and handling every aspect alone. I didn’t know anything about music basics since I studied cinema, but I decided to pursue my childhood dream. While I enjoy the process, it can also be tiring sometimes, as I manage everything from creating the song and writing lyrics to singing and sometimes even mixing and mastering. Despite feeling the weight of it all, I don’t give up because I truly enjoy it.
What do you consider to be your biggest achievement in your music career so far?
Hearing a lot of good compliments from listeners has been my biggest achievement so far. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that people enjoy my music.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years? What are your long-term goals in the music industry?
I don’t know exactly where I’ll be in the next five years, but as I mentioned before, I’m optimistic about everything. I hope my songs can help people feel calmer, happier, or whatever they need. Of course, every artist wishes to achieve more and more, but I haven’t thought deeply about where I’ll be in five years. I believe it’s better to live in the moment.
Are there any artists or producers you dream of collaborating with in the future?
I don’t care that much, but if it happens with my favourite artists or producers, I would be incredibly happy.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time when you’re not making music?
I enjoy doing a lot of nice activities for sure, but these days these are the things I do and enjoy the most: cycling, going to the gym, watching series or movies, etc.
What advice would you give to other aspiring musicians looking to pursue a music career? I’m not at a place to give advice to someone, at least not yet :) but they should just go for it.
